Commonly referred to as the 'riot shield' or 'the Guardian', This portable combat barrier that can be used as a riot shield which negates all damage from a 125° angle or can be placed using right click and then left click to deploy it for stationary cover. When the shield is placed, it will remain where it is unless it's health of XXX is drained to 0, if the owner picks it up, 30 seconds after the owner dies, or if the owner deploys a new one.
The stationary shield can be disposed of within a matter of seconds using the repair tool. Friendly shields can be lowered for a few seconds to give way. Approach the shield crouching and look at the bottom. Press and hold the Interact-button (default "E") when the icon for interaction appears.
This item, along with the AT-D4_Deployable_Turret can be picked up and replaced via your "use" key, the shield will maintain the same health when replaced.
The shield also features a melee attack when held in the hand that does a considerable amount of damage.
