[[Category:Weapon Components]] |
[[Category:Weapon Components]] |
Latest revision as of 02:06, 7 November 2013
Overview[ | ]
The Muzzle Component affects a large number of Weapon characteristics including damage, range, recoil and bullet spread. Since muzzles have almost an indistinguishable weight from one to the other, they do not affect the player's running speed. Muzzles can be fitted to all primary Weapons and all pistol class secondary Weapons excluding the Revolver.
Details[ | ]
Muzzles are grouped into three categories in-game, although the statistics of individual Muzzles are different, each group provides a general set of advantages and disadvantages, explained below. All observations below are made against the standard issue (default) Muzzle, the Overmatch FB-RX (seen to the right).
Group | Pros | Cons |
---|---|---|
Flashbrakes that decrease damage will usually improve recoil, spread and range. | Flashbrakes that increase damage will usually negatively affect recoil, spread and range . | |
Somewhat reduces recoil and muzzle flash, decreases maximum bullet spread and reduced the audible distance of gunfire. | Reduces damage, can also reduce range and increase initial bullet spread. | |
Greatly reduces recoil, muzzle flash and silences the weapon, also reduces maximum bullet spread | Reduces damage, range and increases initial bullet spread. |
It is also worth noting that some weapons have a maximum amount of damage they can do per shot, so some Muzzles will only provide negative stats in certain situations.
List of Muzzles[ | ]
A full list of Muzzles. Statistics are forthcoming.
Note: Stat changes are different depending on what receiver you are using. The stat change will remain positive or negative, only the amount will change. The below are only a guide for now.
Pricing[ | ]
Muzzles can be rented or purchased either with GP or Zen for one week or permanently with prices increasing depending on the time period and initial price of the Muzzle, price brackets are as follows.
7 Day Rental Cost | Permanent Purchase Cost |

855 GP or 90 Zen | 3750 GP or 300 Zen |
998 GP or 105 Zen | 4375 GP or 350 Zen |
1045 GP or 110 Zen | 5000 GP or 400 Zen |
